Matchday Manners is a branded documentary series produced in collaboration between Heineken and OneFootball. Spanning two seasons, each episode takes viewers to a different European city to explore the unique pre-match rituals and culture of local football supporters. Hosted by Tsellot Melesse and Fabian Kleinert, the show dives deep into fan culture by connecting directly with supporters on the ground, with episodes filmed across iconic football hubs including Munich, Madrid, Barcelona and London. This featured episode took place in Birmingham, capturing the atmosphere as Aston Villa faced PSG in the Champions League quarter-finals.
The series was defined by an ultra-fast production pipeline. Content was shot live on matchday, fully edited overnight into all required deliverables across three formats, and published the following day via the OneFootball app.
